I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Purdue University, advised by Prof. Abulhair Saparov. My research focuses on reasoning in language models, including graph reasoning.

Before Purdue, I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Science, VNU-HCM, where I worked at the Computational Linguistics Center on Vietnamese language understanding with Prof. Dien Dinh and Dr. Long HB Nguyen.

My research interests include:

  • Reasoning: how language models perform logical, multi-step, and graph reasoning, and how to improve it.
  • Reliable language models: hallucination, robustness, and verifying model outputs.
  • Vision-language models: multimodal reasoning and understanding.
  • Applications: using language models for real-world and domain-specific tasks, such as question answering and information retrieval.
